Stop by, drop-in, hang out! Eastern PA Trans Equity Project hosts a number of different community discussion and social support groups targeted specifically to transgender people and those who care for them.  In all cases you can be assured of a safe and secure environment where your identity and any information you share will be held in strict confidentiality. Lehigh Valley Renaissance – LV Renaissance is a drop-in discussion and social group that is open to all transgender and gender nonconforming people, their allies and family members. 

Meet-ups take place the second Saturday of the month.  Doors open at 6:30pm for social time, meeting starts at 7:00pm EST. Open to all trans/gender diverse people and allies.  Location: Metropolitan Community Church of the LV (rear entrance) 2354 Grove Rd, Allentown, PA 18109.  Please park in the rear parking lot. Renaissance also sponsors social events, dinners, and other activities for trans folk. 

Partners – Spouses and partners transition too. And just like trans people, they can struggle with issues around stigma, sexuality and more. Partners is a drop-in support group exclusively for the spouses and partners of transgender and gender-diverse individuals. 

Meetings take place the second Tuesday of the month via ZOOM. 

Nonbinary support group

Beyond the Binary – Is a drop-in discussion group just for gender non-binary and gender queer people. Gender is not a choice and it isn’t only male or female so join us! Meet-ups take place the second Saturday of the month.  Doors open at 6:30pm for social time, meeting starts at 7:00pm EST. Open to all trans/gender diverse people and allies.  Location: Metropolitan Community Church of the LV (rear entrance) 2354 Grove Rd, Allentown, PA 18109.  Please park in the rear parking lot.

Trans Masculine Group – Is a drop-in discussion group for masculine identifying transgender people and those who are exploring masculine identitied. Meet-ups take place the second Saturday of the month.  Doors open at 6:30pm for social time, meeting starts at 7:00pm EST. Open to all trans/gender diverse people and allies.  Location: Metropolitan Community Church of the LV (rear entrance) 2354 Grove Rd, Allentown, PA 18109.  Please park in the rear parking lot.

Radiant – Named for the radiance of trans and queer neurodivergent folks, Radiant is a community group for neurodivergent LGBTQ+ people to gather, build connections, and share support. In-person meet-ups take place the second Saturday of the month.  Doors open at 6:30pm for social time, meeting starts at 7:00pm EST. Open to all trans/gender diverse people and allies.  Location: Metropolitan Community Church of the LV (rear entrance) 2354 Grove Rd, Allentown, PA 18109.  Please park in the rear parking lot. Pocono Renaissance – is a drop-in discussion and social group that is open to all transgender and gender nonconforming people, their allies and family members.  Meet-ups take place the first Saturday of the month at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Building , 118 Knight St, Stroudsburg, PA from 7-8:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Acrasid is a weekly community meet-up for trans and gender-expansive community members that meets at the YWCA Lancaster on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30pm. The building is located at 110 N Lime St, Lancaster, PA 17602.

Come out for some great fun, great food, and great conversation with friends at Mystery Box Games in Easton! With over 200 great games to choose from in a completely affirming environment your are sure to have an amazing time. Three hours of game play is $15 (paid to Mystery Box Games). This meet-up takes place on the third Saturday of each month September through May at 2pm. THe Address is 1458 Northampton St., Easton PA

Brave Hearts Over NEPA – Brave Hearts is a drop-in discussion and social group that is open to all transgender and gender nonconforming people, their allies and supportive family members.  We meet at 7pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Action Together space at 10 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Monthly Zoom Group – Join us on the 4th Saturday of the month for our regular Zoom Social/Support Group and Virtual Happy Hour!  We meet from 7-8:30pm, so join us for an evening of fun and community. Contact us for log-in information.

The Eastern PA Trans Equity Project (EPTEP) mission is to empower transgender people to live fulfilling and happy lives.

We serve transgender diverse people in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. We also serve gender-diverse people in all Eastern PA counties and Western NJ.

We provide supportive services including Transgender Support Groups, Legal Name Change Assistance, Grants for Gender-affirming garments or prostheses, Scholarship Programs, Educational Programs, and Basic Needs Assistance to people in Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Montgomery, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike, Carbon, Columbia, Schuylkill, Bradford, Wyoming, Montour, Northumberland, Lebanon, Sullivan, Tioga, Susquehanna, Lycoming, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Perry, Snyder, Union, and York County in Pennsylvania.
