Eastern PA Trans Equity Project helps transgender people with basic neccesities. This can include help paying for:
- Utilities / Heating Oil
- WIreless Bill
- Transportation (Car repair or bus passes)
- Other unanticipated living expenses
The maximum grant is for $250. Grants may be made as cash payments or as a payment directly to the vendor.
Please note: we do not provide assistance with ride share services like UBER or LYFT.
- Applicant must be transgender or the parent/guardian of a transgender person to apply
- Applicant must demonstrate need
- Applicants must reside in Adams, Berks, Bucks, Bradford, Carbon, Chester, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Pike, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, Wyoming, York, Centre, Mifflin, Blair, Huntington, Bedford, Fulton, Clinton, and Potter County County in Pennsylvania only. Applications from other localities will be declined.
